When it comes to senior pictures, most all high school seniors want to look awesome and tell their story. Taylor Hubbard Photography is here to help from start to finish! Individualizing your senior portrait experience starts with the first phone call to the studio. We will ask some basic questions to get to know you and help guide you to want type of session location(s) that will match your style.
Clothing suggestions for Senior Pictures - We will also walk you through clothing suggestions that we have found make for successful pictures. While we do not limit the number of outfits you can wear in your session, we do suggest quick changes to fit in the most looks as our sessions are based on time. This is great because it can create many great looks and different options for your senior pictures. We also suggest more simple, solid color, form fitting clothing that will have you looking great! Layering clothing with jackets or vest and accessorizing outfits with scarves and jewelry can create numerous looks from one outfit! We want your clothing to reflect you and create a timeless look that you will love beyond that particular fashion season
Hair and Make for Senior Pictures - Professional hair & makeup is a something that our clients invest in before their senior portraits. We can certainly refer you to some great local salons that will have you looking picture perfect! If you choose to do your own hair and makeup, we suggest applying your makeup slightly heavier than normal, as it shows better for your portraits. We do not suggest doing anything that is drastically different from your regular look, as we want these pictures to reflect you and sometime that can be difficult with a completely different look. We also advise wearing foundation and powder that will help reduce the look of acne, even out facial skin tones, and cut down on shine in the summer heat. For hair, we suggest styling your hair as you normally wear it on a day-to-day basis. If you have naturally curly hair and wear it that way, rock those curls! If you have naturally straight hair, strut that gorgeous hair. If you do put a little curl in your hair or straighten it out, be sure to bring along some heavy hair spray & bring along quick heat straightener just in case you may need a touch up during the session. We also provide options for senior who want to do a split look to wear their hair both curly and straight.
Props to use for your Senior Session We love it when high school seniors bring props! These items can be sports uniforms & equipment, art drawings, pens/pencils, musical instruments, sheet music, microphones, chessboards, etc. There are no bad props and we want our seniors to bring along these items that enjoy to help personalize their session and create some awesomely unique senior pics.

We use numerous lighting techniques to create the specific look that matches each of our high school senior clients style. It could be the soft, airy look of natural light to showcase a more candid, photojournalist style or the hard sharp light of high-powered studio strobe lights to showcase a more dramatic look and feel.
Taylor utilizes her years of experience posing people to help them look and feel their best. Senior portraits should be fun and not stressful. We spend time getting to know you before and during the session to create simple, fresh poses that make you feel comfortable and best of all, look fantastic instead of awkward. The posing techniques she demonstrates and knowledge she posses typically has every senior feeling like a model and rock star after their session.
